We saw your first show of the season at the Miner’s Museum on June 26, 2007 and we were truly moved! I am from several generations of coal miners in Northumberland, England. My father had his back and several ribs broken in two different roof falls in the seams on which he was working. during the 1940s. There are very few coalmines now working in the UK. my mother and i saw you perform the farewell tour with rita.it was absolutely awesome. your performance of their lights will shine was especially chilling in that as a unionist i know that from the westray mining diaster bill c- 45 has come into effect. i am hoping that at the labor school in july of 07 im hoping to give a talk on westray and how bill c-45 came from that . as part of this i would like to perform ‘ their lights will shine’ and could you tell me how to obtain the lyrics to this song.thank- you

We have heard The Men of The Deeps Only once or twice before usually with Rita McNeil and have always wanted to attend a concert, finally at long last and a few miles from home, which is New Brunswick we get to.
