Excellent performance last night at the Markham theatre. Is nice to hear stories and songs of the mining industry in Cape Breton. Having my Father from Cape Breton makes me proud to have some Cape Breton in me. My family in Cape Breton always told me stories of working in the fishing industry and losing many men at sea. Heard about mining in C.B. but never had stories told to me when I was there. Was excellent the stories told last night some sad and some funny. I have just watched your documentary that was air at christmas time, and all I can say is WOW! I wish that I were a miner, just so that I could sing with you guys. You are amazing. You know how I found out about you guys? My Girlfriend Is a miner, and she pushed me to watch your documentary. I had an aversion because I am slightly claustrophobic, but your passion and love for what you do got me past that (except for the short section where someone was talking about cave-ins and blackouts) but it was all cool. Thank you for sharing with the rest of us all that the miners have gone through.
